Summer Programs

Early Start: 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and Late Start: 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. | La Joya Community High School, Sierra Linda High School, Tolleson Union High School, West Point High School, and Distance Learning Academy | Know when your school starts - Note: Copper Canyon and Westview students will attend at West Point.

Summer School 2026

Summer school will be offered at La Joya Community High School, Sierra Linda High School, Tolleson Union High School, and West Point High School. Copper Canyon High School and Westview High School will attend at West Point High School. Summer school is Monday through Thursday.

Session one is from May 27 through June 9. Session two is from June 11 to June 25. There is no school on June 18 in observance of the Juneteenth federal holiday. Meals are provided for both sessions.

Early start school sessions are from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Late start school is in session from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Summer school is also offered online to all Tolleson Union High School District students through the Distance Learning Academy. Sessions for online summer school are from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Summer school graduation will take place on June 25 at 6:00 p.m. at West Point High School.

All students must register for summer school through their home school counselor.

Summer Camp 2026

Summer camp is a free program offered to all TUHSD students. It is a great way for incoming freshmen to connect with their high school campus before school begins.

Summer camp runs from May 27 through June 24, Monday through Thursday. (No camp on June 18 in observance of Juneteenth.)
