How to Enroll

We welcome new students and returning students to our schools.

You will need the following documents when you enroll your new or returning student:

  • Birth certificate
  • Immunization record
  • Proof of residency
  • Government issued identification
  • Legal guardianship or custody order (if applicable)

All TUHSD school enrollment is available online through

our ParentVUE Student Enrollment system.

Please select the button below that best describes you.

Existing students will automatically be enrolled for the

next school year.

New Parents/Guardians: You are brand new to Tolleson Union High School District. You have never had a student attend a TUHSD school. You will need to create a new ParentVUE account.

Returning Parents/Guardians: You have already enrolled a student at a TUHSD school at some time. You will need to use your existing ParentVUE account to continue. Please contact your school of choice for assistance with ParentVUE account recovery if needed.

Open Enrollment

TUHSD has an open-enrollment program as set forth in A.R.S. 15-816 and A.R.S. 15-816.01 et seq. Our district welcomes students who live outside our school boundaries. These students will need to fill out and submit an open enrollment application. Applications for each school year must be submitted by March 1 to be considered for the following school year. We will accept all applications for consideration. New students to our district should enroll here.

Students currently on open enrollment status must complete and submit an application for each school year. All applicants will be notified of their application status no later than May 1.

You will find additional information on our Open Enrollment procedures and FAQs under the Enrollment Information heading on the right-hand side of this page.

Immunizations

In order for us to enroll your student, we need proof that your child is up to date on his or her shots. The state of Arizona permits exemptions from vaccinations for personal reasons with the parent’s signature or for medical reasons with the signature of a parent and physician. Please be aware that we will not allow students without current vaccines to be at school if there is an outbreak of disease. We’ve included the links to the Arizona vaccination requirements as well as the exemption form on this page.
