access ASU programs

Tolleson Union High School District Partners with Access ASU to provide family engagement programs in an effort prepare our students for higher education. 

WeGrad

WeGrad is a free college prep program that takes place at school sites designed for parents and students. There are no requirements to participate. Families that participate in WeGrad gain all the knowledge and skills needed to prepare for a four year university.

Hispanic Mother Daughter Program

Students must complete an application to participate in the Hispanic Mother Daughter Program (HMDP). HMDP student’s complete monthly college readiness workshops at ASU with their parents throughout their four years of high school. This program is open to male and female 9th grade students. If your student is interested In participating, please contact your site Guidance Department.

TRIO Talent Search

TRIO Talent Search is a federal pre-college program developed to provide academic and support services for first-generation and/or low-income students interested in seeking higher education with the goal of earning a college degree. Students interested in the program should reach out to their site Guidance Department for an application.
