College and Career Fair
We will have our annual college and career fair from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 5, at Sierra Linda High School, 3434 S. 67th Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona. Check out this college and career fair flyer for a partial list of which universities, colleges, trade schools, and branches of the military will be eager to share their information for post-secondary opportunities. We hope to see you there!
Tax Credit Contributions
Take credit for your student’s success! Here is an opportunity to make an important contribution to our students while receiving an income tax credit for the full amount. You can contribute up to $200 (or $400 per married couple) toward extracurricular programs like athletics, character development, and academia such as Advanced Placement Testing. Our students thank you for your contribution!

Tutor Bus Availability
Is your student attending after school tutoring? Are you aware that bus transportation is available for students following their tutor session? Check out the tutor bus schedules for first and second semesters.

Thanks to the support of voters who in the fall of 2012 elected to have TUHSD join the Western Maricopa Education Center, a Joint Technical Education District. West-MEC provides students who attend schools in its member districts with career driven educational opportunities they may not have at their home school. While continuing to attend school in TUHSD, students may be eligible to take coursework leading often time to industry certifications in the following programs Aesthetician, Automotive Collision, Automotive Technology, Aviation Technology, Avionics, CNC Precision Manufacturing, Cosmetology, EMT, Fire Science, HVAC-R, Medical Assisting, Medium Heavy Diesel, Veterinary Sciences, & Welding Technology.
