Schools Closed to Open Enrollment for 2016-2017 School Year; Now Accepting JROTC Open Enrollments
On February 9 the governing board voted unanimously to close Copper Canyon High School, Tolleson Union/University High School, and Westview High School to open enrollment due to the high number of students currently enrolled or projected to enroll for next year.
Incoming freshman who have an interest in enrolling in the JROTC program at Westview or Tolleson Union High School may do so by completing an open enrollment packet and submitting to the appropriate school. We will accept a total of 20 students per each school beginning with the 2016-2017 school year. Again, open enrollment for Tolleson Union High School or Westview High School is only for incoming freshman students and on a first-come, first-served basis up to 20 enrollments per school. Like any open enrollment, transportation to and from the school is the responsibility of the parent/guardian.
You can find open enrollment information and forms by clicking on the registration and immunizations tab under school info.
