Welcome to the Tolleson Union High School District Employees Benefits page! We are pleased to share the various employee benefits available to you. Please take the time to carefully review your benefits online by clicking on any selected documents below.

For new hires, there is a waiting period for benefits. Benefits become effective on the 1st day of the month following the 30-calendar day waiting period. If you choose not to enroll for any of the insurance coverages within 30 days of your initial hire date, you will have to wait to enroll during the next open enrollment period *. The only exception to this rule is if you and/or your family experience a qualifying event such as loss in health coverage with another employer, marriage, birth and/or adoption and the new enrollment is completed within 30 days of the qualifying event. (Employees who work 30+ hours weekly, or a minimum of .8 FTE for teachers, are eligible for medical/dental benefits.)

Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA)

Open Enrollment

Open enrollment allows eligible employees to make changes to their benefits (i.e., add/drop dependents, change plans, enroll for new coverage). Open enrollment is for a specified period and must be completed online. Employees who miss open enrollment will have to wait until the next calendar year’s open enrollment period. Click here to complete your open enrollment online.
