Welcome!

We are proud and very excited to announce the opening of the newest high school in the Tolleson Union High School District, Sierra Linda High School. The Home of the BULLDOGS is scheduled to open its doors to incoming freshman only in August 2008. We will add a class every year until we have our first Graduating Class of 2012. Ultimately, we will have a total enrollment of approximately 1,800 students in grades 9-12.

Sierra Linda is currently under construction at 3434 South 67th Avenue in the City of Phoenix. For the first semester of the 2008-2009 school year, Sierra Linda will be housed on the campus of La Joya Community High School, 11650 W. Whyman Avenue, Avondale. We will operate as a "school within a school" but with our own daily schedule, academic programs, and classrooms. All extracurricular and athletic programs will be offered as previously planned.

Currently, Sierra Linda administration is housed next to the La Joya front offices, located on the south end of the campus. Starting in July, the Sierra Linda front offices will be located on the northwest end of the campus, just west of the Avondale Boulevard and Durango Street intersection.
