Tolleson @ Night

The purpose of the "Tolleson @ Night" program is to provide 11th and 12th grade TUHSD students with opportunities to master the essential knowledge and skills of incomplete/failed courses or to advance and/or to "make-up/recover" on missed or failed work, so they may stay on a timely course to graduation.

For students, night school provides an upbeat, challenging program. For teachers, night school offers an opportunity to develop and implement innovative strategies which stimulate learning. The staff has high standards for academic achievement and citizenship for every student. Excellence is expected and rewarded.

All coursework will be delivered through the GradPoint online learning system. Courses will be assisted, facilitated, and supervised by certified Tolleson Union High School District teachers. These courses are tailored to each student and are mastery-based. Students must demonstrate mastery of the coursework to earn credit. The length of time a student must spend in night school will vary and is dependent upon mastery of course objectives. All coursework adheres to, and is aligned with, the standards and benchmarks of the State of Arizona and the Tolleson Union High School District.

Tuition

Tuition is $175.00 each session to be paid at the time of orientation. Students will have the opportunity to enroll and work on two courses.
