Project Plus
This program allows an academically mature student with special needs an opportunity to accelerate graduation requirements. A guidance counselor will determine student’s course of study. Competency based performance will determine student’s achievement.
Southwest Skill Center Partnerships
CEA is a participant in the partnership between TUHSD and the Southwest Skill Center through Estrella Mountain Community College. CEA students may participate in a number of vocational/technical programs earning job certification and TUHSD elective credits.
Distant Learning
Through NovaNET interactive electronic curriculum, CEA can provide learning opportunities to students on the Internet. Upon request the Director will determine if student’s course of study and Academy’s technology are compatible. In special cases laptop computer are available for "take-home" service.
Summer Session
CEA is designed to provide year-round educational opportunities. To qualify for summer session, students must be enrolled in the fall or spring program or have a special administrative referral. The summer session is aligned with other district summer programs. Check with guidance office in the spring.
Touchstone Community, Inc.
This program provides mental and behavioral health services to students who show need. Professionally trained counselors hold regularly scheduled group and individual sessions in areas of anger management, substance abuse, parenting, and life skills.
