The students will analyze classic and contemporary literature for the universality of these works. Students will also evaluate the author’s persuasive techniques. In their writing, students will analyze the use of literary elements, write an informal report using research, and a persuasive essay. Students will also write using the Six Trait Writing Process and the Six Trait Rubric.
