Principal's Message
Dear Parents and Students of Copper Canyon High School,
It is with both privilege and honor that I am able to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you as your new principal of Copper Canyon High School. My name is Tad Bloss. I have been a High School Principal for the last eight years at Buena High School in Sierra Vista. I am particularly honored to be returning to the Tolleson Union High School District as I was Assistant Principal at Westview for four years prior to Buena. Honestly, I feel that I am returning home!
In the short time that I have spent on your campus here at Copper Canyon, I have been very impressed with the outstanding care, cleanliness and the friendly atmosphere. It is most definitely a school radiating with pride. This pride is a reflection of you, the parents and the students caring, respecting and being proud. I am very impressed with the facilities. There is no doubt in my mind that there are already great programs in place and I look forward to working with and expanding on many of these programs. Some of the things that you as parents and students should expect from me are:
- Being very visible. I believe it is important to be visible on campus as much as it is important to be visible at many school activities.
- Being very involved in your son or daughter’s education and extra-curricular activities. Together we should be there to support them.
- Being accessible. My philosophy as a Principal is to develop relationships with parents and members of the community.
It is my belief and experience that the keys to a successful high school are through the development of relationships and shared partnerships. Developing, expanding and maintaining this vision, driven by high expectations of students, teachers and parents, will create an environment of success, growth and knowledge. By making this commitment with all partners, believing that all children can learn, together we can provide an enriching experience for all students.
I look forward to meeting and working with you and the students of Copper Canyon this upcoming year.
Sincerely,
Tad R. Bloss
